Especially on the early models (such as the 1973/1974 production years), the original factory clips have become extremely brittle after more than 50 years and easily snap during removal or due to driving vibrations. Since these clips are no longer available as OEM parts, this replica provides the perfect solution to securely mount the chrome or plastic trim back onto the window frame.
